i already got 4 invites from my dealer to come round and check thir D5 promos, right on my way in hurry lol

I'm tooling around in a HSE Lux D5 also for a week as my RRS has gone off on it's hols in a car swap.
My RRS is a V8d and when they stop that engine I would have a D5 V6d over an RRS V6d (or the new in-line 6). The kit level is comparable (except this week old D5 doesn't have Apple CarPlay ) and the inside storage/convenience available to front seat passengers is way better than the RRS where you basically have the option of the cup holders for all your phones, keys, bits and bobs, etc.
The only thing I notice 'different' really is the D5 rolls more on the road, even when not really pressing on, but sure I'd get used to that quickly.

Its horses for courses, you either like it or you dont.
Personally I find it a great car that does all I want and more, is it ugly, well that is the eyes of the beholder and for me no it isnt.

Going slightly OT, mainly as CBAed going on the D5 site, but have they sorted that stupidity that is/was the oil dilution issue?

I dont think its ugly - but spec and colour makes it...the rear is the only real ugly bit - but you cant see it when you are in and it does grow on you.
Lack of apple carplay/andriod auto still is annoying...dealer would install it on the last when it was serviced, if i paid them, that wasnt going to happen.Mike

Apple CarPlay is brilliant, it was installed on my Velar FOC at the last update due to ongoing infotainment issues. I still prefer to use LRs sat nav as it works with the digital dash.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green
