Damaged Key-fob
Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find any reference to it.
Disco 3 key fob in a sad state, the membranes had disintegrated probably due to previous owner operating the switches with their nails.
I bunged a bit of mastic in there and it worked for a few months until it failed altogether.
Thought I’d have a go at repairing it, managed to undo the casing without damaging it and started to remove the switches. I removed the first one but on inspection it had virtually disintegrated.
I spent a long time trying to source replacement switches without success.
I then found an eBay seller claiming to repair virtually any remote fob.
I told him that mine was in pieces (see picture 1 attached) and he said “Pay for the repair and if I can’t do it you’ll receive a full refund”.
Three days later I received my key via 1st class post.
Three new switches and a new battery all contained in a brand new case. Picture 2
No further programming required as it was the original PCB.

I bought a similar, moved over the key bit and the circuit board, works great!
