hi all
well it was sunny for the first time yesterday and whilst out and about i stopped at a junction looked to the left and saw a scratch in the n/s/f window on further inspection it looks as though i have had some foreign object in the rubber and when the window has gone either up or down it has put a scratch in the glass.
now i can feel this scratch with my finger nail and it is on the inside of the car, i have standard factory non tinted glass and want to know is there any way i can get this removed/polished out
cheers shawn bali blue disco 4 with rear dvd's, privacy glass, pre heat system, heated steering wheel, full size spare, piano black trim, ipod cable, 20 inch wheels and i love it loads more than my TDV8 RRS, KTM 250 EXC 2 Stroke for the real off road stuff

The scratch sounds a bit too deep to polish out if you can feel it with your fingernail. I did have some scratches in a previous Discovery. I went to local windscreen replacement company who gave me some jeweller's rouge. It worked very well See what your local windscreen guys suggest.
Best of luck.

Hi,
Did you manage to fix the scratch on the inside of the window, as I've had one appear as well..........?
It's as though someone has tried to open the door with a coat hanger or similar, and it's scratched near the rear at the top of the nearside front.
Where was your scratch, it may be coincidence but there again....?
