DAMN ABS SENSORS and car lowered. Are there any way to lift

LR4 3.0 SDV6 2016

DAMN ABS SENSORS and car lowered.

As so many others have tried I now also have the pleasure of HDC, Park, Brake assist, Special programs lit up on my car.

I know that it is time to change my brakes on it, why I am sure it is my ABS sensor that has gone BOO BOO.
I dont YET have a GAP tool to the car, but am HOPEFULLY getting oner soon.

NOW, here is the kicker. When you get all those damn errors, the car also decides to lower itself down to its lowest setting, and therefore making it undrivable. NOT a good design idea after my oppinion.

Any WHO any HOW. Are there any way for me to get the car back up to normal drive height so I can use the car until I get parts home and time to change them.

I need this car A lot every day, and for now I dont want to drive it while being lowered to access height.

Hi

Hope u don’t mind me suggesting but if u fill in ur profile it will help others with regards to what model , engine , year D4 u have plse

Understand u need it but personally wouldnt drive it in such a condition with multiple warning lights , particularly with the brakes involved

Wondering if maybe an Autel AP200 ( white ) might work to at least give u the fault codes , are only around £60 until such times u get a gap iid, at least then ur know for sure what codes u have , along with ordering the required bits

Sorry that’s not much help but not wishing to sound rude in any way but don’t think u would forgive urself if u hit someone with defective brakes

You are right about getting my profile done. THX for reminding me.

Anyhow, I am sure that it is the ABS sensor gone to the Censored . Sad

I just need to find a way to get it to lift to normal height, cause this design solution to lower the car like that is just a PAIN in the flying thing.

Could u order some ABS sensors if u think it’s that , at least it will give u peace of mind and maybe cure the issue

unless of course the discs / pads also need changing

Plan is to do disc and pads also since I know they are ready for a change. I am therefore convinced that it is where the problem is, but HEY you never know with a landy

Continuation of problems

Hey guys.

I have now changed the front brakes, and ABS sensors. I happily jumped in to the car, and turned ignition on, and the lights and faults were gone.

Well, happines does not last long though.
After having pumped the brakes to hard, allt the lamps an errors came back on.
It has to be said, that it was complaining about low battery, so now I am trying to charge it.

Can the battery be a possible reason, and can I reset the fault without OBD or will it @clear@ itself
