Dash cam:- how to do wiring

How do I wire in this Thinkware dash cam F750 to my 2005 Discovery3 HSE?

It has software to switch itself off if car battery drops below preset voltage.
It is supposed to remain on while car is off and records motion if detected.

Presumably the third wire detects when ignition is on to begin constant recording.

Help!! I'm a novice. The full extent of my knowledge is what to do with the Earth wire

That's great to hear that it's been done before, I think these fuse adders should do nicely. Will let you know thank you.

I’m about to hardwire a thinkware F770 into my D3
what fuses have people used for the red wire and yellow wire? I have the piggyback fuses just checking which is best. Thanks

Thanks I’ll give that a try tomorrow in the daylight. I ran the cable down this evening an it took all of a minute or two.

Thanks I’ll keep it posted here.
