Daylight running lights

Day light running lights. Question

I'm sure there must be a way of turning on the headlights so that that they turn on/ off with the ignition. The book says you need to go to a dealer, surely there must be a way, instead of the garage charging me again for some thing else.!! discodeeva

Thanks Renton,

Just read about the interior mirror having the senor fitted. If I was to put my lights on auto then cover the sensor...! Should work I recon.

Is it bizzare that I want my lights on all day, but Im toooo lazzzy to turn the switch.(lol) discodeeva

that might be a fix for someone with a Faultmate,
ie Wiggs ? I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

DRLs activated keeps instrument lighting in daytime mode compared with having lights on because its getting dark.

Dealer has to set daytime running lights to "on". In the U.S., this setting is called "Canadian" - no joke! I had my D3 programmed back to regular from "Canadian". 16 D4 Landmark
