Strange one this... wife (main driver of child transporter) could not get the D3 to start yesterday. Twice turned keys in ignition and no lights on dash at all. Started 3rd time lucky. Any thoughts? Imobiliser etc??

My Disco 2 (and the 4 others on our firm) used to immobilize itself on a regular basis, and require a deactivation code to be put in using the key in the drivers door lock. Sometimes, just sometimes, it would sort itself out and allow you to start the engine without the code. I wonder if this is something similar ?? Arctic Frost TDV6 5-seat

Climate control
Xenons
(Yes, it's an odd spec - but I like it!)
