Dead Radio!

Hello Disco3 Fans, I'm in a bit of a pickle, I just recently removed my 2007 LR3 SE 4.4V8 6 CD radio from my rig so I could repair two of the buttons that select channels, the post broke off and were useless. I removed the face plate, I un-clipped the two ribbons, removed 12+/- screws from the circuit board and removed/replaced the repaired buttons. I replaced everything back together just like I found it and once I re installed the radio it has no display, no functions at all other than the CD changer shuffling or something, it stops after about a minute, but otherwise I have a dead head. I have performed a hard reset, I put the key into position 2 and removed/replaced fuse 53 and nothing has improved or began working. I would very much appreciate any information anyone may have as to how to tackle this problem, I don't know of any internal fuse or reset button on the head that may need resetting. Do I contact L.R. for any direction? or do I just consider that somehow I fried it (not sure how I could have done that)and will have to buy a replacement??
Again, I am looking for any thoughts or direction if anyone has experience in this issue,
Thanks Disco community.

Thanks for your reply, I did remove the head and checked to make sure they were in all the way, but I will remove it again and take the ribbons and maybe clean and re install, couldn't hurt right?
Thx again.

It was the other end of the ribbons that needed to be reseated, b/c they were a tad short I must have pulled them out of the dock that was internal to where I was working. All is well now with music in the Rover.
Thanks.
