Dealers Struggling
Just had a video sent to me by my local dealer showcasing the three Defenders they had in stock... I won't bother posting it here as there was some information lacking... all I know is that two of them are blue and one is sliver (I'd figured that one out) and they all have wheels.... you don't say... and they have privacy glass again visible on the video...
What was missing was some rather basic information that I (for one rather like to know) .... like Model designation, engine size/type? and most importantly Price???
Other than that it was a great idea I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Have a look at the AT adds, it’s a nightmare trying to figure out what the spec of the cars is. Plus there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds, some a crazy prices!!
Mind you, now discounts being offered even on the 3.0 cars.

Agree. Plenty of stock. Seen 10% off being offering. However I thought the 2.0 was pants so not really any consideration. 3.0l petrol still too pricey but Harry's video would have been great for sales.
Afford needs to be defined.

5% available on the 3.0 cars as well, even 90s just hitting the metaphorical showrooms are attracting that kind of discount.

I have "terms" agreed with SWMBO to spend 40k ish on supercharged D5 to replace the V8 and PHEV. (two into one)
I think at 80k I'll be pushing my luck a little

Isn’t “terms” another word for surrender?

No the wife keeps the household savings. I just need to have an agreement in principle to spend some of them. Not the best idea when your wife is an accountant!

I so feel your pain, MrsDSL is an ex-accountant and nothing gets past her!
