dealership decisions in South Yorkshire

The D4 needs to go in for some warranty work, and we have a couple of dealers locally - Stratstone in Donny and Guy Salmon in Wakey, plus a few further afield, the car was purchased from Listers in Droitwich and whilst they are more than welcoming it back to do the work the 6 hr round trip is putting me off somewhat
Its only a couple of minor things :- engine ticking when warn - think it is the EGR's, James bond smoke effect when the second turbo kicks in and the rear window isolator (child proof thingy) is not working as button is stuck..its on a Approved warranty but from experience there is always a better dealer and would like some feedback if at all possible
BTW anyone near Droitwich who hasn't done so drop into Listers...Verrrrryyyy nice! and were just talking about the receptionists and not got to the F types yet D4 XS Fuji white, leccy seats, armrests, dog guard, camera, rse, basically a HSE but without sunroofs

Duckworths at Market Rasen would be on my list
although
the car has come from Lambs chesterfield so if it does want anything would be considering them as well, the car was prepped well ..... but still had to back within the week

I had a similar choice when I got mine a few years ago.
Not heard any good things about Donny and speaking to them doesn't give you confidence.
After feedback on here I swayed towards GS Wakefield and they have always sorted any issues I have.
They tend to be a tad more expensive than Donny & Sheff so get quotes from them first and tell Wakefield if you've had a cheaper quote and they will try and match/beat it.

If it doesn't have to be main dealers, ring Brian at green oval in Morley Other than that Duckworths if you want a trip to market raisen or guy salmon at Wakefield

GS at Wakey were pretty good when I took mine in for a service. Couldn't get the Donny outfit interested in selling me one so I'm not going to rush there for any work to be done.

I'll give Green Oal a bell to see if they take on warranty, as it dosen't say so on the website...otherwise ill call Duckworths and have a day out in raisen...last resort is GS wakey....
The "ticking" is getting worryingly loud..sounds like a sticky lifter and it is RPM related..but only when warm hope it's nothing sinister!D4 XS Fuji white, leccy seats, armrests, dog guard, camera, rse, basically a HSE but without sunroofs
