"Degraded" Load Cover

This is the second tropical summer I've had the LR3.
Over the past couple of weeks the load cover roller material( PVC ? ) has become a decomposing
sticky mess that comes off on my hands and sticks to anything it touches.

I'm thinking it's the humidity ...... some plastics/foams don't cut it up here in this climate

Anyone in Florida or somewhere humid had the same problem ?
Dealer has ordered another one this morning.

I did not have this happen when I lived in Florida. Dark window tint may have made a difference though maybe.

Replacement airfeighted over from the UK .
I didn't really expect LRA to have one sitting on the shelf.
(...... at least it arrived, which is more than Norto can ever expect
of his replacement diff ...... Rolling Eyes)

Dealer is using old one as fly paper on the workshop wall. Laughing
