Delivery date 12th July - whoopee
The car was ordered 15th May (can you believe they actually forgot to order the car when asked to in April!!) and will arrive 5 days before I get back from hols. That'll give the dealer time to check it and fit some extras.
HSE Zermatt Silver, Ebony Hide, Grand Piano, Privacy Glass, IPod connection and remote heating.
Now I want to protect the sides from supermarket dents and i don't like the side tubes, so that leaves a choice between rubber strips +/- silver trim or side steps. Currently I think I prefer the side steps. Anyone got pics of a silver D4 with the steps fitted? Thoroughly enjoying my landrovers in the southwest.

Excellent choice (the same as mine ).
See my gallery for the side strips with silver inserts. My dealer told me that these would protect much better from supermarket dings as the steps are much lower - so I agreed and so far have had no dings at all (touch wood ...).

One step at a time - I am still getting used to the differences (and more accessible places) from 15 years of BMW's. ...and I don't want to spoil the "detailing" before the novelty of driving in a new comfort zone wears off.
Taking the tin tent to the borders next week so might have a green lane sniff around when I'm unhitched and suitably "laagered". - YodaLRD4 HSE Ipanema Sand/Arabica trim

Few days delay - yet again ..but,
Got back from hols to get a disappointing text that the disco arrived a few days late and therefore is not quite ready yet - however, to make up for this they left their demo FFRR TDV8 in the driveway for me to use in the meantime.
Now I know that I am being really biased, but having driven around in it a bit and getting several admiring looks, plus overhearing someone saying "what a beautiful piece of kit" , I still would not swap if for my new discovery. Its just too nice and I am petrified of pranging or scratching it let alone worrying about the boys in the back with all that cream leather. Also, the engine is so smooth and muted that there's not really much of a thrill when you boot the accelerator, at least with the TDV6 there's a bit of a growl! Thoroughly enjoying my landrovers in the southwest.
