I ordered a Corris grey SE tech with camera ,full size spare , tow hitch ,privacy glass ( essential to my mind) service pack ( also essential) and it arrived in 4 weeks mid March.
Electric seats with armrests would have been nice but another £800 and you have to stop somewhere!
Farnell in Leeds have been spot on.

The original owner of mine had park heating as one of the extras.
I tried it this week even though not that cold in mornings and it's great. Comes on for 20 mins and car is all defrosted and warm when I am ready to leave for work. Not sure how much it costs though. Firm not hard

Just an update, spoke to the dealer this afternoon and I have a build date sometime in June for a MY16 Discovery SE Tech.

I'm thinking about privacy glass but then with black leather am concerned it will be too dark. So then I think the Alpine roof would brighten things up and I go round in circles…...

Just order it, you'll thank me when you get the Discovery. Having sat in vehicles with and without I would say alpine roof is a must.

Just planning on keeping the car for about 10 years so wondering about its reliability and sturdiness etc

Agreed
I missed having a sunroof for years. I got one in FL2 No 2, again in FL2 No 3 and for a third time in the D4. I would never, ever, choose to be without one. During the great Spring that we've been having, I've been driving the lanes able to hear the skylarks - you can't hear them through a window as all you get is the noise of the car bouncing back from the Cornish hedges. It's great on dry and clear winters nights too, when you can see the stars above you (heater and heated seats on, naturally).
Buy without a sunroof if you are a tucked up indoors, never seeing the light of day kind of person. But then, what are you buying a Land Rover for?!
Dark glass is fine with a dark interior too 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄

2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!

Will 250,000 - 330,000 miles be sufficient?
