Delivery Times
We've just ordered our first vehicle from the Land Rover range a Discovery 4 SE Tech.
Does anyone know roughly how long from ordering to taking delivery of the vehicle? The dealer is waiting for their next allocation so we are in the dark!
The spec is Scotia Grey, Ebony interior with tow bar, reversing camera and full size spare. Are there any options which are must haves?
Many thanks.

I ordered my SE tech at the end of Feb and it was ready for collection at the end of March, was just over 4 weeks.

How many thousands do you want to spend ?
You've got the essential ones. Lots of others that would be nice...

I added the black pack but the only other option I thought was essential was the Alpine roof. I felt it really brightened and opened up the cabin.
I wish I had ordered the heated steering wheel after hearing good reports about it.

I too would be interested to know if different dealers get access to different slots? I'm buying from a major dealer down South who has intimated possible May build. The local dealer was suggesting a July delivery?
As for options I think we've maxed out the budget but just wondering if anyone found some of the options essential. I will put on a pair of gloves on a cold day
Although I am tempted to change the spec for the sunroof?

Do Scottish dealers just not sell enough so don't get as good a service regarding delivery?I'm to old to know everything......

Mine took 1 month
Se tech too with a black pack, side steps and service plan...
Really went through the mill with scotia Vs corris. Went for corris in the end and very happy, but would love to see a scotia with a black pack.

I don't think it works with Scotia.
I ordered 6 weeks ago and haven't heard diddly squat yet. But maybe because I went through LR direct on their military scheme and they're in no hurry! Plus I think they will be back in touch shortly as my original order is no longer available with my16.
I went for a scotia with a Ivory seats as I didn't want a dark interior and was advised that almond would clash with scotia. Now Ivory is no longer available, I'll be changing to corris with almond. Interior is more important to me and both are nice colours.

I don't ever want to have another car without one! It's open all year round (only rain closes it). No light pollution here, so it's great on a clear winter's night when all the stars are out
