I would have been very interested, but you have just said it's been left in the local recycling centre. I have no idea what conditions it has been kept in whilst there, it would be a bit of a risk. If you can confirm that it is still working let me know.

I will ask my wife to drop by there and see if it still there.
Here in Lux, at the recycling center there is a system where we can leave items that are fully functional, or in perfect condition etc in a room and anyone can help themselves (free of charge).
We have found all sorts of things there... Televisions, DVD players etc.
If it is still there, I will test it and let you know (my RRS was bought by my neighbor so I can test it on that).

OK... I can confirm... My wife managed to get it back. It was still exactly as I had left it, so there is no reason that it should not work as new.
I will test it this evening, and then confirm that it works.

‘Jam tomorrow’ is a phrase we use to describe a situation where something that customers require or wish is always ‘coming’ or ‘will be in future release’ or similar promises.
It’s common in the software world! Also it seems the Land Rover world too, indeed, the new Defender is slathered in ‘jam tomorrow’, because everything except a 110 SE is coming in the future.
If your really interested then read this! > https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jam_tomorrow

I guess the jam tomorrow is a UK thing.. I had never heard of it before either. Although you guys used to pronounce DLCI as del-sey instead of D-L-C-I so ....
I’d call the Land Rover Defender “story” very strong promiseware or slideware - “nothing ships but trust us, eventually...“
In the end we do mean the same thing of course.

Thanks for that clarification.
Regarding the IID tool... Got it back, and still works fine. Wasn't touched at recycling center.
So... It is available for sale if interest is now there.

Sorry for the delay... I have now fully tested on my D5 (as much as it can do) and on a RRS.
Device works perfectly.
So... Device is 100% functional.
Comes with D5, D3 and RRS licenses.
Price is €350 shipped (carefully... Euros not pounds!! So don't be put off by the price)

Tip: as mentioned earlyer, before me, CHANGE the topic title, if you really want to sell it 😉
This title is not very appealing for potential buyers... imho Best regards
Harold
