Detailing, cleaning, polishing, buffing or whatever!

Hi,

Want to get into cleaning the car properly so after recommendations on products and techniques Thumbs Up

My Java black is looking like it needs some TLC specifically lots of very fine scratches to remove.

Cheers

United States 2006 LR3 4.4 V8 SE Auto Java BlackLR3

I recently turned-in my java black LR3, which was regularly used on gravel and overgrown brush "roads". Lots of sage-brush pinstriping and was even keyed, yet did not have any visible scratches. No damage or money due LRNA at lease-end.

3 times a year: Aggressive polish with Random Orbital Polisher on surface scratches/marks, fine polish with ROP, Wax prep spray, Sealant. I used Griot's products, but I'm sure others work well too.
Bad scratches pinstriping: Lanka Sanding kit and Lanka Blob remover

Of course, you can also just bring it to a professional and be done with it.
