If you're concerned at all, try a little bit first.
The paint on these discos is quite hardwearing.
Many thks, ordered myself the rubber wheel and compound
Because I’ve never done this before it would worry me to much using the white spirit
Many thks

I wouldn't immediately rule out using white spirit (even though I'd put in nowhere near my paintwork).
But as it's his recommendation, I'd ask Coo to do a paintwork test on his D3 for you.

What about Autoglym tar remover. Here’s what it says on their page:
Q: Can Intensive Tar Remover be used to remove glue residue from my bodywork?
A: Yes, Intensive Tar Remover is also great for breaking down any glue residue on your bodywork. Simply apply Intensive Tar Remover to the affected area and allow to dwell for a few moments. The glue should begin to break down and finish by gently wiping the area with a Hi-Tech Microfibre.
Whatever is left you’ll have for future car cleaning.
CheersGary

You'd be ok using petrol to dissolve the glue. Cars paint often gets covered in petrol and it never harms the paintwork but would have that adhesive off in no time. Mods:

Is there any tips on what to use to get cream leather to come up nicely on seats and doors?
Thanks

This was the image I got sent to me when I had my car gutted inside and out by a very experienced detailer.
That was back in March, the seats had been cleaned by myself, Autoglym leather care etc but it shows how well a professional can bring up what was 14 year old seats.
He was impressed at how the interior was wearing the years and miles. It had 188,820 at that picture.
It’s now at 194,760

Rubber wheel on the drill works well nice and gently.
Got mine off powerful uk
Forget the rubber wheel they do damage the paint.
Use a hair dryer to warm it up and then justrub/roll it with your fingers to get worst off then give a good polish 5/10 minutes would see that done easily.
Alternativley you can use WD40 works really well but make sure you clean it off afterwards and also polishMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

I think you’ll find this job is already completed a couple of weeks ago IIRC.
Oh and the rubber wheel works perfectly well probably as long as you’re no novice with tools and you take it gently gently as I did with mine and not a mark (also as per the OP) though heating does help also. D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo
