Sorry!
Spent ages with the pressure sprayer UPsprayer attachment, carefully "quartering" the whole underside, producing lots of mud on the drive; subsequent inspection revealed almost no noticeable cleaning effect
How do the WaxOylers do it? Up on a garage lift, then up close and personal to each crevice, I guess. Some of it needs a good prodding before pressure washing.
Or ignore it - current plan here...2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

I used Maguires sh'ite shifter balm, applied with a toothbrush and floss to get in those difficult places. I then applied two coats of 'Shiny Purple Hell Met' oil and buffed it up with cotton wool...the buffing did take a while to get the desired results though 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

In the past I've arranged to go to a haulage yard up the road from us as they have a ramp/pit made out of two parallel walls. Drive up it and the vehicle is parked at 40 degees, makes the cleaning with steam/pressure washer alot easier that if the car's above you and level.
Plan to do the same with the current beasty this summer before wax-oiling it.
As Ken says - wet-suit and mask & snorkel are advisory.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Well I want to know how to detail behind the headlamps - I was shocked when TFC removed one of mine yesterday to see the dealers hadn't cleaned behind the headlamps last time it went in for work Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Washing Machine , Heavily Soiled Cycle ( 90 + degrees) . Throw in one of those dye absorbing sheets in case of colur run-off. Check you side pockets for loose change.Make sure you close the windows aswell.
Dry with a cotton tip bud.

I forgot to add that you could just mask out the upper body if if it's only the undercarriage you wish to clean. If thats the case reduce the washing times by 75%.There should be a sticker on your washing machines to advise you of this.
