Devon to Tanters Depot in Birmingham |
|
Hi All,
Between meself & Tanters, we've got 5 Jerry cans to come from Bill Wright in Devon to near Birmingham airport (or to me whichever is easiest). Is there anyone that can do some of a relay to get it to it's destination?
As an added incentive, when you collect them from Bill, he can show you around his new D4
Any & all responses gratefully received, although the ones that are helpful are usually received better
Cheers

Friday afternoon could work, although what's he in? Artic or a transit type van? as M6 J11 would be easier, otherwise it's the trek down to J10 & back up again to reach northbound Hilton.
(or detour off at 10a to M54 J1 and then back on the M6 J11 might be easier if he's not having to have a timed stop?) Bodsys Brake Bible

Little bigger than a 7.5Te but not much, so shouldnt be too bad.
Cant send him too far off route, as management may be watching! The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

No problem, it's not really much of a detour, as when you come off at 10a, you're on teh M54 and J1 of M54 is the road to link to the M6 J11. Given the size of vehicle, it would be the easier route and saves having to turn around if it's posisble that is. Bodsys Brake Bible

I can make Clyst St Mary at 0800hrs Thursday but I can't hang around too long as I have to elsewhere pretty sharpish after that. So earlier would suit me if it's possible.
PM the location and I'll be there.

Okay - sounds like a solution.
If you're travelling up from Cornwall on the A30, even better. Let me know.
