Oh I forgot to ad that I have put a D4 Bluetooth module in the car to replace the 'missing/stolen one!
Thank you Wiggs for all your help re pin outs.
My iPhone connects perfectly and I even have signal strength and provider (3) etc. on the radio screen.
It does seem to be a bit reluctant to stop giving me this info after ending a call, though the radio does revert back to the previous thing playing.
I haven't tried it but does this mean I can have Bluetooth audio playing in the car?
I might just go out in the rain to the garage and find out, or more than likely wait until it stops raining!
Any ideas?
Best

Yes the D4 module is tie wrapped to the bracket that holds the TMC. It is flat enough to just rest against the foam padding that is glued behind that rear panel.
What I would love is a male 54 pin socket plugged into the original car 54 pin female plug, with the two wires going to a 32 pin female plug to the D4 unit's 32 pin socket. This would just make the retro fit 'perfect'! There would be no likelihood of a wire coming unplugged by the jiggling about behind the panel!
Buy the way could someone explain to me how to put the IID Tool logo at the end of my posts, I've tried but just get the script Sticker_IIDTool_BT_Forum_150x40.gif

Hi im now totally confused. I have the six disc cd player and silver amp in my 2005 se.
I bought an adaptor lead to connect a handfree kit, the adaptor i bought is for the low and high line stereo but not tye premium logic 7
when i fitted it to the back of my stereo the radio works fine but no sound comes from the bluetooth kit.
I have unplugged the speaker plug from the adaptor and the radio still plays until i unplug the optics plug.
Have i got a premium system without logic 7?

Audio Systems
Gents, I wish I’d read all this before I bought a head unit from our local salvage yard. My car is a basic 7 seater bought, at short notice, with an after-market ‘entertainment’ system I don’t want. So I took it out and fitted what I now suspect is a Premium head unit, that remains silent. Presumably the OEM head unit in my car at new was a ‘Standard’, the wiring etc. of which is not compatible with the ‘Premium’ unit I have just bought. So I need a ‘Standard’ head unit. Anybody got one ?
