Different stereos

If a unit From a breaker D3 has the optical cables into it on the rear does that mean it is going to Be the same unit as the HSE unit I have removed which is terminally broken.? Harmon Kardon u it it says on my stereo and I’m assuming only the high spec HSE use them? I’m assuming that the optical input will only be on the top spec models? Can’t match model numbers as my unit is at the menders.......
Thanks, John.

Some very nice Eastern European gentlemen at a dismantlers near Coventry have solved this problem for a very reasonable sum of cash now thank you.
If the unit has the two optical cables on the one extra feed wire from the dash it fits. Simples. Used HSE tested and fitted today.
