Anyone know if it's possible to see instantaneous fuel consumption as well as average consumption? Also it would be great to see a digital readout of speed when setting the cruise control; I find the speedo readout fairly difficult to assess when setting the cruise control. The police in Australia don't allow much leeway when the revenue cameras are operating.

How about some glasses
The thing I would like to have is the time on the info screen, as looking down at the radio takes your eyes off the road!

I was thinking this just yesterday! My Volvo V70 had instant and overall average fuel consumption readings, as does my fathers Jaguar, and my Mums Merc.
Set your CC at a lower speed than needed, then accelerate by dabbing the + button. 1 dab = 1mph and its accumulative, in other words 10 quick dabs = 10mph speed up. 10 quick dabs on the - button slows by 10mph.

my (traded-in) subaru liberty (legacy) 3.0r-b had the instant and average fuel consumption readings. I didn't find the instant one that useful - just kept the average fuel reading selected and am really glad LR decided to use that reading !!
for the digital readout of the speed - that would be nice - but i transferred my RoadAngel to the Landrover and that gives me a GPS speedo readout when i'm out on the highway. 2009 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE

hey Lex - ur a local !! well in Oz anyway.
I used double sided tape to mount it on the dash, on the left side of the dash (for the moment) - have only had my Disco3 2 days now so still fiddling around.
Couldn't really use the suction caps and the mounting tray due to the design of the dash.
i found the GPS speedo accurate compared to my old DiscoII's speedo on the highway on cruise control. 2009 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 HSE

Also, would be nice if the trip on the computer display didn't go to 000.0 after 999.9. I do loads of miles. and at month end, its nice to have the figures at hand, but now I have to remember how many times its gone round. I use the odo trip for "trips" so not sure if this one rolls over or not. ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........
