As soon as you pick the photo(s), the Upload and Clear buttons should stop being grayed out
The transfer would only start once the "Upload" button is pressed.
Unfortunately I have no immediate access to a machine running IE9 (IE11 is the latest version). I will try and find one!06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!
I tried picking a different picture this time, (actually two different pictures, one at a time), but again the same results, both the Clear and Upload buttons remain greyed out, both just after I clicked on the jpg name that I desired and also when I clicked on the Open button in the Windows Choose File to Upload window.
I think for the most part, my computer system is working OK but I recognize W7 is still far from perfected at this time.2005 LR3 HSE 4.4L AJ-V8 petrol; Traxide Dual Battery; PIAA 2500K Yellow Ion H11 Fog Light bulbs; CounterAct LT-2 Capacitive Corrosion control; LLumar AIR80 Blue clear Infra Red blocking side window film; Liftgate manual release; Schrader Valve "air in" mod to OEM air suspension reservoir tank; Akebono ceramic pads; OEM solid vented discs; LR4 design hitch receiver; Wiggs D4 MOST bluetooth module; Clock on the Dash; 3 Flash signal light mod; Backup Camera; 2015/16 Nav Data update.

Have an issue with uploading pictures from my mobile.
Worked fine with my Galaxy S3. Ended up with an LG G2, and will not let me upload pictures at all
Comes up with the message "Failed to open selected file"

If you can see the upload buttons, then it's not the same problem as that thread.
Every phone seems to have its own quirks and issues, without physically having one of every phone here I can't test for compatibility
That error isn't one in the site's photo upload script, it is a phone error and I can't, for obvious reasons, support the phone itself or why it's playing up.

Press "control shift R" and try again ...if that doesn't work try going to "Gallery" then "Upload file" this is the old way of doing it. If that fails then it's one for Martin I'm afraid...not sure if he's around aver the weekend though.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Just go to the picture in 'My Gallery' then copy the BBC code which looks similar to this (ignore the spaces in img )
[i m g]http:600:400]http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/userpics/10510/normal_006a.jpg[/i m g]
Paste it into your post and it should come out like this

Sorry to be thick, but I can't make the new method work, so I am trying to use the old method. I have uploaded the photo to my gallery. How do I then put it in a thread? If I hit choose photos, it tries to choose them off my PC, and not the gallery.d4 HSE
