My Disco 3 has a purpose!
Hi Guy's n Girl's
Thought you might like to see a Disco 3 doing what it's supposed to do!
Picked up my new CMC S15 tracked Spiderlift today from CMC Chesterfield after a delay its hear.
Sent it up to max height only to realise that's high then our hearts missed a beat when we noticed that the telescopic boom was not out & went higher still.
Gong to need to get on EBAY later to find some Big Boy Pants!
enjoy
John

Goes higher than in the picture another 2-3 metres as I did not have the telescopic boom out
total height with man in basket 15 metres which is pretty high if you ask me.
Its easier on the eyes when you are up against a building as the exposure is not so bad.
I have set up a Access company here in Sheffield as a owner operator completing any work at height for clients this machine will track through garden gates 780mm at its widest & 1970mm high turns on a sixpence due to its tracks, bucket removed its only 3.45 metres long.
Hopefully spotted a gap in the market with the big boy's only wanting to do daily weekly hire with operator which is very expensive.

As some may know I used to tow access equipment for a couple of company's My bro works for a large one and they have booms that reach 185 feet they had an incident with a 135 a few years ago when one fell over and the basket landed on the hard shoulder of the M25 poor guy was killed instantly on landing but what a horrible few moments he must of had before

185 feet
I have been up a turntable ladder at 100 feet and that was a bit bottom clenching as there is nothing below you when you look down as the ladder is at a slight angleMY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Will you need a tacho?
I did as I was hire and reward not sure if you will fall into own goods
Also not sure on how law has changed since I stopped towing
There was rumours of needing operators licence also

I know Russel not sure what height I have been but wouldn't want to go that high as you say you don't really see what's holding you up there cus it's under the basket 05 TDV6,"S" in all colourcoded Zermatt silver,7 seats winter pack HK 6cd stereo,Dual climate,Xenons,

I hired a 12m trailed once and that was bad enough.I got my mate in the basket and told him the controls didn't work, sent him the top and he was screaming like a girl The guy at the hire place said they had vehicle mounted ones that went to 50m+
That Spiderlift looks proper scary because the footprint is small.IID PRO
