"Hot Terrain Response" not finished...yet.

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

when I was young this could happen to me...weekend, Saturday night, just picked the driver license...a man and a woman in a car and a beach in front of us, moon was shining like the sun that night.....

Woman: it would be very romantic to see the sea waves...she said.... Rolling Eyes.

Man: ok baby.... I catch the point...you will see..the MAN!! full speed ahead brave one!! Just to the border of the sea the sand will be wet and hard and my car will run ok over it...I promised myself...and of course.......
....
....
....
....

It didn't...... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter as soon as the car stops it was stranded touching the sand with its belly. No movement possible at all... Whistle

No way, the sand were eating the car as we try to got it out.

Desperation to the max....water was coooming Twisted Evil

Two police 4x4 pulling 4 hours later saved my moms car just in time from the sea...

thinking about it....maybe....I would be doing the same again if "the situation" come again... Whistle

The joy of being a man. Mr. Green

Hi Rescue01. I have just recommended the cottage to another member on this thread

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic126957.html

I have had many a nightcap dram in the cottage but my overnights have usually been in a draughty tent in Bill's garden (if garden is the right word).

Are you working with HMCG by any chance?

Hi Hugh i've spent a few weeks in the cottage in the past few years and also in my OZ tent in Bill's "garden" Laughing

No i don't work for the Coast Guard.

Im sure that the cottage is always booked up well in advance.

Fantastic beach for the kids.

Thumbs Up

Insurance said the water came in from the faulty sun roof plugs. Mr. Green

The driver thought all would be ok as it was fitted with a aftermarket snorkel.

He obviously won't make that mistake again. Some think these cars are invincible, there are safer (and cheaper) places to find that they are not. Thumbs Up
