Disco 4 HSE Lux 2014 - how can kids watch netflix?
hi guys, many hours hunting for a solution that allows the kids to watch netflix on the rear screens on our trips up and down to cornwall has led me to your great community!
How have you (if you have!) Managed this?

Only a suggestion but you’ll get better picture quality with cheap android tablets rather than the RSE screens.

Tablets (with seat mount) with car or phone WIFI hotspot for sure.
Some good hotspots and even ones with external aerials which give better speeds, although they aren’t cheap and designed for motor homes and such. Should be fine with phone hotspot as long as you’ve got good signal on it.RLD CB Bracket

BTW you can also I believe download on the Netflix app for offline viewing, but I might be wrong as I don’t use it much on my iPad or offline.RLD CB Bracket

Exactimundo, most movies can be downloaded and then watched without any data use. Would need a level of Netflix subs that has enough download devices.

Yep, that’s the problem I had recently with restrictions on download devices, so worth looking into that if you’ve got a couple of kids. Basic plan I think is one device, Standard two and Premium four, but it may have changed.RLD CB Bracket

Don’t underestimate how much space/capacity on the Tablet you might need if you’re downloading HD films or similar for offline viewing.RLD CB Bracket

Thanks for your replies so far, We have unlimited data and stream netflix to tablets atm, surely there is a way to mirror phone screen with netflix onto the rear screens?

With rear screens you should have AUX A/V connectors on the back of armrest, between two front seats. If so, I would use hdmi-to-chinch converter and connect Google Chromecast. By that you can mirror what you have on tablet or smartphone to rear screens.
