Disco 4 HSE premium carpet mats...

Does anyone know if the rear carpet mats are meant to be fixed like my old D3 rubber mats, the so called premium mats in my D4 HSE are fine in the front, but the rear ones i have seem very lightweight and flimsy and have no fixings at all so just keep curling up, anyone else has this problem...

otherwise love the car to death.....

I have the same problem. In fact the middle seat has no mat at all Shocked . stealer thinks the D3 has a one-piece mat which stretched across the whole of the 2nd row floor. Is this the case? And if so will the D3 mat fit the D4? The so-called premium mats are very skimpy compared the those of my old Volvo.

As for the rest, big smiles when driving the car.

I got a pucker set of rubber mats for my D3 thrown in by the dealer when I got it - plus the fixing.

To be honest they are so heavy dont need the fixings at all and didnt want to drill into the floor.

on the rear (middle) I have 2 mats. one covers the Off side, the other is a "mat and a half" that cover the Near side and the middle.

Very heavy and dont move at all. So is the back one - weighs a ton.

Not sure they would fit the D4 tho

D4 Orkney my13 - gone
Stornaway D4. Gone, Didn't like it at all
D3 silver manual. Loved my first LR

I use the carpet mats most days, but when we go walking etc I use a set of front rubber ones I got with the D4 and since then I acquired a set of rear rubbermats from BobbyCrispBox Thumbs Up

I don't use any fixings but they do appear t fit Ok

yes i think rubber mats are the way forward, would be nice if they gave you the option when you ordered, the so called premium ones are ok at the front but useless for the rear (middle) seats

D4 rubber mat fixings

well now got dealer to fit rubber mats but whilst the front ones are fixed via lugs they have not fixed down the rear (middle)ones although the mats have fixing holes in them, does anyone know if there is a fixing kit?? the dealer said they cant fix them as there are no lugs in the carpet?? Any advice would be much appreciated

I was supplied a little kit with fixings that literally screw into the carpet like plasterboard fixings. I didnt bother the mats sit there just fine without them Thumbs Up
