Buelbeast, Are you splitting the ones off your car or have you bought a spare one to try out first, I think Pete at BAS tried to remove the lens off an headlamp he had, and he was telling me it is quite difficult without damaging the whole assembly, but i have been talking to a body repair guy who was telling me that you can get a spray debonder that may help in releasing the glue around the glass, whether it works on headlamps though is a different matter, but may be worth a try before you start hacking at the glass MY18 D5 HSE LUX😎

It's a spare standard halogen set i acquired, my car already has the full beans headlamps
The glue seems a lot stronger than the previous D3 type and it may require testing until destruction to work out the correct method of disassembly.
I was looking at using some super bright cree type smds to give a brighter "signature".Club Forum Criminal !!!

At least now we know that they actually make halogens with the LED's,

Styling enhancements and new identities for Discovery 4
The Discovery 4 gets three exciting new paint colours for 2011, Fuji White, Baltic Blue and Siberian Silver. LED signature lamps, previously available only with Xenon headlamps, now appear with halogen headlamps for some models too. One small, but important feature is the Land Rover oval badge which has been given a colour change from gold on green to silver on green, creating a more contemporary look. The badge appears on the grille, tailgate, steering wheel and wheel centre caps.

Hi,
The led lights on my 2011 year discovery 4 XS do work and I have the halogen bulbs as my main lights. they look great but are no where near as bright as the type you get on Audi's.
Hope this helps!

The ones on Audi's are daylight running lights, the ones on the D4 are just 'to make it look nice'.
