Saw something similar before.
It was this D3 front end conversion on a L200

So By slapping some bits off a land rover on any car I can then call it a land rover prototype ? Wow cool. Right where’s that fiat panda 4x4 I left laying around....

What, trailer to carry the replacement engine in?

And it could be easily solved by JLR. "How?" I hear you ask. New engine every 4th service should do it. Plus a TC with the belt service. Thumbs Up

This:
Quote:
A Nissan chassis was used for this experiment to see if the body would work with the intension of fitting Landrover mechanics later.

suggests a Discovery body on a Nissan chassis when its nothing of the sort its a Nissan with a Discovery front end, number plates lights and a Land Rover which cover.

And I like the way it says

Quote:
The specification was for basic suspension and simple mechanics for overseas maintenance.
And yet it says they were going to fit LR mechanics Rolling with laughter

Whole thing is a sham.
