Slightly odd accident scene. Narrow country road yet the hit is passenger side to passenger side!

Looking at the crash bar the fiesta impacted in the centre of the car, maybe there is a side road not in shot and the impact is as a result of one car turning?

Will make me feel safer now,
I thought the plastics on the front of Discovery's would have crumpled more

Shows how crap fords are nowadays, as good as a write of I'd say

I had a mass deletion of pictures, likes and "friends" on my fb today...
1st overland was one as there seems to be too much of this glorifying of crashes.

Sorry firstO but I though you were about greenlaning & offroading Rolling Eyes

Discos do very well in impacts; sadly the victims come off less well. In fact it is a sobering experience to see what a Disco can do to a normal car.

Got to see a D3 get into a winter-induced tank-slapper and then mount a MX-5 with a lady driver.

Shocking.

Our other car is an MX-5 too.

Disco deffo looks like it hasn't moved, the debris from the foglight is lying right beside the tyre.

Just wondering if the cost of repairing the fog light and wheel arch will be the same as repairing the other car.

A 10 year old fiesta is a write off with that damage.
Front slam panel, bonnet and wings etc all will cost more than the car is worth.

Disco took it well but is a reminder that the big car will 9/10 times come out on top.
 In loving memory of FA54WSK.

Rest well old friend, your work is done.
