I'm currently with the Co op, and will be changing insurance companies when due.
Try LR own insurance cover, apparantly covered off road as well.
Discokenny, are you or a member of your family with the CSMA, if so go through their website to get insurance, they so far have been the cheapest I've found and confirmed that I'm covered off-road i.e. not just green lanes but proper off road stuff, as long as it's not competition related. Last renewal, May was £380ish fully comp for me & SWMBO with Class 1 business use. That's with 9 years+ NCB
WantsanLR3, that's for 12 months LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Out of interest whats Class 1? I get similar for me, SWMBO inc Business Use with 8 years+NCB from LR and only pay £350 and that GENUINELY does cover me off road.Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Hi DiscoKenny
Just upgraded to D3 from D1 and have quotes ranging from just under £200 to mid £300 for 2 drivers, fully comp, protected no claims and after 1 at fault claim this year (oooppppps). Then I started checking the small print (for once). All cover on road, one said only A, B and C roads so we had a discussion about D roads!
Sure Term only cover greenlaning for off road
Adrian Flux weren't competitive
LR were most expensive
NFU offered unlimited mileage, protected no claims, £150 XS, £25 glass XS, 2 year 'new for old' even if not first reg owner and full off road cover (hit the farmers prize bull on top of Ben Nevis and its covered.
Guess I know where I'll be going
Cheapest with mid range cover were Zurich Connect and More Than provided I omit AIG Direct cos I thought they had gone bust
