Disco xenon headlights ????

Has anyone encountered their headlights ( xenon ) sticking in the main beam position ????? When you pull the stick or full for fully on main beam, the main Halogen lamps light, but the xenons also alter their pattern via a little flap ( or 'filter' )
The drivers side sticks in the main beam position, which i dont think is welcoming to oncoming traffic !!! it will release if i tap the outer plastic cover, or if i go over a bump .....

Any one else ever had - or heard of this ????????????????????????????????

Parts, therefore you lights, have 12mths warranty....can't see why your dealer source shouldn't honour that???
 Cheers
