Now u know you’re going to upset peeps by subtly suggesting they got it so wrong with the D5.
My thoughts are they got the new model RRS so right, they then had to make amends. Ying and yang and all that.

I've said it before many times, I just wish JLR would do to the D4 what MB have done to the G-Wagen. Give it a range of specs. from poverty to luxury and reap the rewards as it did with the D3/4.
Of course they won't ever do that, as it would steal so many Defender and FFRR sales.

OMG LR goes with fashion rather than with good design practices and practicality
Even famous Grenadier is crap for true utilitarian offroader not really being offroader
where is the world going?

Don’t forget the above is an Autocar image, based on what they are guessing the next Discovery may look like.

The new one will just be a rehash of the D5 - it's how LR do things these days. Look at the RRS as L494 and then the newer L461. They're very similar externally (compared to the jump from L320 to L494). I doubt a new D6 will be much more than a gentle restyle of the D5's exterior with the big changes being internally and mechanically (PHEV stuff, etc.).Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Yes, no doubt it will share a lot of L460 styling.
With both the L460 FFRR and Defender having the option of 7 seats, it’s hard to see what the target market is for the Discovery nowadays.
I cba to look up the recent U.K. sales figures for the D5, but I bet they’re low.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
