The rear upper arm kit, again right and left, is about £150, and maybe 2-3 hours to do.

I am led to believe rear upper arms are a total bar steward and will most likely need cutting to remove.

Yeah, that is what it looks like to me.

That is why I would leave them for now.

Once the rest is done decide maybe? I would guess if the back end feels really lose when cornering after the rest is done you know it will need doing, but it may feel fine.

I am in the process of doing most of that.

Have you got some clunking up front?

The lower arms at the front normally clunk when you jab the brakes on at 10mph.

Advanced Factors do a complete front arm set for £216, and if you call them you can get 5% discount code.

Front discs and pad set from £77.

Rear disc and pad set from £67.

Wear sensors £15 for both.

May as well buy their track rod set as well, track rods, track rod ends and all rubber boots for £59.

Front arms will take 2-3 hours, track rods and ends probably 2 hours, brakes front and rear probably 2 hours.

That is a day, and most indi garages will charge you around £80 an hour so £360.

So around £800 all in.

Obviously you need to consider the oil cooler and the rear upper arm, but I would be asking why it needs to be replaced.

The rear upper arm kit, again right and left, is about £150, and maybe 2-3 hours to do.

The car will probably feel a lot tighter when done.

Even doing the lot I bet you could get an indy to do it all for £5-600 if you agree a price first, especially if you say you will supply all new bolts so he can cut the old ones off saving time.

Thanks all.

Haven't been on the forum for a while!

Yeah quite a few clunks and when braking steering pushes to the left and right...

Will look around for a decent indy, I would rather get a garage to do most the work at the moment so its done and dusted.

Also have a feeling the TC is on its way out Sad juddering uphill and starting to slip - also a a noise when i let off the accelerator (like a waste-gate sound) Not sure if that is normal or not?
