Great to see another d3 overlanding
This is a great build. We use a g4 challenge for overlanding.
The only thing I haven’t sorted is the water system. This setup is pretty good and gives me some great ideas. Thanks and good luck with the sale.
Btw. We have done london to Cape Town (22k Miles) and now doing london to Australia (so far 14k miles).
Still on air. Wouldn’t want to swap it. But have not had a failure like yours so will kee going for now.

Oh almost forgot.
How do you find the range of the v8?
The 2.7 tdv6 is pretty good. But still a concern at times.
I can’t imagine running the v8.
You carry more spare fuel than the aux tank?

Your hot water heater heats your entire water tank? Or do you have two tanks?
Shower quick connect in fuel flap is genius!
I actually recently posted a thread about installing a heat exchanger for hot water. The thinking was to use the FBH to heat hot water. This can work but has bunch of issues. Therefore I’m leaning towards a hot water tank type install. Right now we just boil water when needed.
I was under the car the other day (replacing fuel filter) and I was wondering whether there is room for a tank under there if you use a modified exhaust. The centre muffler is huge and could easily be removed on the tdv6

Many times lost in Mongolia. They don’t really have many paved roads. And the winters make many roads disappear every year. The locals remake many roads every year. So many nav roads turn out to be more of a hint
