Op reading / 0.875v 14 to ground.

Which is high speed canbus low

Feel really bad now after u taking the time to do that great drawing

Ps, the last 2 x sheet are the low , I did happen to notice the small low symbol on the sheets , near the bottom left hand corner

Hi @Briscoe05

So I’ve just bought a breakout box for the OBD2 socket and some test leads which include the ones that fit into the breakout box

Therefore I then thought I could at least do some tests as a comparison with mine , if in the mean time ur still having issues and therefore try and help it along

But will see how we get on first

GS, I will definitely need to go to Spec Savers to read the small print but at least the flow and plugs should be right. Thanks for the assistance. Big Cry
Have fixed the sheet up by changing the Instrument cluster pin from 6 to 1 now to replace in the gallery.

Rolling with laughter

Ur so welcome , felt really bad after u went to all that trouble creating the data sheet

Indeed if u use the last 2 x electrical diagrams that will have the correct pins numbers etc

Ie , instrument panel will indeed be pin 2

Diag socket pin 14 and so on

Of course Plse let me know if I can help in any way Thumbs Up

So been doing some more digging , ohms error is between pins 14 - 6 getting 120 ohms , then between pins 14 to ground getting 0.875Vdc

Have put below the wiring diagram the pin 14 OBD2 , so easier that it can be traced from the ABS backwards , showing all the PIN numbers needed

Hi mate

That’s weird , unless of course the ABS module is faulty ?????? , which of course we don’t know yet

Assume that was with the battery disconnected and connector still attached to the module

So if that’s the case , Would u mind , plse , with the battery still disconnected ,

1) unplug the abs module
2) testing it again just on the unplugged module
3) Then on the connector plse in ohms

Between the same pins 14-35

4) Also using a jump lead from the battery neg post to the engine block

Many thks and curious to see what readings u get

Following this along some more. I have added a document to my gallery that may give assistance/guidance to fault finding on the Can Bus. Obviously a "break out" box like GS just acquired could be useful.

Thumbs Up Bow down

Hi mate

That’s great and Thks as everything helps that’s for sure

Funny enough , the breakout box just turned up this morning , am now researching to understand what some of the terminals mean

Tac
Wspe
Sdm
Ts
Tc
Vpw plus and neg
Sil

am also wondering , surely if the abs and instrument Cluster which haS the 120ohms resisters , if they are unplugged should read 120 ohms

Also the instrument cluster must have 2 x 120 ohm resisters seeing the medium and high canbus goes in/ out of it

Looking forward to see what results come back from the ABS unit, without it being connected and also what ohms readings from just the connector itself
