Disco3's "Red Nose"

Not sure if it is standard, but he socket for my factory fit towbar was "plugged" with a red plastic cover (the "red nose" Very Happy ). I had felt this was not altogether secure & it is also visible to passers by! I now find that it (the red plastic stopper) has "disappeared". Has anyone else lost their "red nose"? - or indeed is it there as standard or only on factory fit tow bar kits?

England 

It's standard and should be fitted when the towbar is not being used, I presume it is to stop mud and debris filling the hole.
