Yep, and oddly the damage to the Corsa looks to be on the offside, rather than frontal....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Looks to me that the Corsa has turned right from the B9163 onto the A9 and the Disco has tried to avoid but hit it side on

It may just be the camera angle but it looks like heavy damage on the side of the Corsa or the fire brigade have removed the side to get the injured person out. Lets hope they pull through.Cheers Ian

Not sure it is not the right angle to see properly, cannot even make out if it is two or four door for sure. Thing that seems strange to me is that the rear door if removed would be close by in a parts dump and it cannot be seen in any of the pictures, if it was the rear quarter normally you cut and peel back rather than remove fully as that is to time consuming. Rear quarters are difficult to remove and often have to be cut with reciprocating saw rather than hydraulic cutters.
At the end of the day none of this really maters what matters is that all survive and go on to make a full recovery, thoughts with all their families.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Looking closer at DGs pic, if you look at the lower sill drivers side on the corsa you can see the osr wheel is protruding and the sill has been punched in a long way, which means the door has gone into the drivers space quite some way.
Worse for the corsa is the fact the disco mainly hit it with the osf corner so concentrating the force into a smaller area, in this case a really long door as the corsa is a two door model.
