Disco4 newbie
Hi,
New to the site and to Discovery's - Pick up a D4 tomorrow at long last. Stornoway Grey, ebony interior, HSE spec.
Used to have a Volvo XC90 which is the longest time for a car I have ever lasted (4 years), downsized to a XC60 last August - biggest mistake of my life, but had a opportunity to get a discovery at long last. So bye-bye crappy 60 and I've got something I can pack all my fishing gear in again!
Hope it lives up to the price tag.

Make that 3 (I have a grey one!). By the way - what do you take to the Ring? We try and do a trip with a bunch of us from Yorks every year.

I take the porker to the "Ring' which is then followed by a track day at Spa. It's not the best track day car but is a reasonable fit for most of my requirements.Current:

If that's on the public days end June followed by the Goldtrack days at Spa I may well have seen you - red road legal race prep'd 968CS usually accompanied by yellow Caterham Fireblade, white 205gti (shed) and a few Elises.

We will be there last weekend in June: Sat and Sun at the "Ring" and Monday attending the Goldtrack event at Spa. 5 of us going - grey Elise, Dark grey 997.2 Turbo, blue Caterham R400 and a red Westfield V8.

We may well see you there. Looks like the best weekend albeit that the Ring looks to be closed other than in the evening on the Saturday. Is that your understanding? Are you on the Friday night Hull sailing?
