Unfortunately my dealer will not carry out the work because they say it is fine and other forum members say it comes back after about a year Big Cry

That happens on the MY11 D4 as well. I think it has been explained on these boards before and is not a fault. I dont know if it still happens with the 8 speed box though.

My power loss was fixed by a new corrulator switch.

Landrover are aware of faulty batches on this.

The fault occurs because it thinks the brake is being used, so the electronics will not let a toe&heel operation occur.

It could also be caused by big feet touching the brake pedal at same time as trying to move off, and you can get it to develop the same symptoms if you do this Thumbs Up

Had my brake switch sorted when I took it to dealers and it is 10x better now, although I do tend to not be in so much of a hurry on roundabouts and junctions! Whistle
