Hello, some days ago I bought a discovery 3 with engine issues, the problems are loss of force in the engine and a lot of smoke. I live in Brazil and here it is very hard to get someone who has knowledge in this kind of vehicle, so it's very hard to getting fix, can anyone help me with some possible diagnosis and what should I do?

P0046 .....boost pressure out of range........Check all turbo/intercooler hoses for splits/ loose connections, and the intercooler itself for damage/ holes, would probably be the first things to look at. D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Looks like you might have turbo boost issues, turbo actuator rod/solenoid, intercooler leak, split Intercooler hoses, MAP sensor. There's a long list really, I'm surprised you're not getting more than the two codes. P0670 refers to glow plug control but I wouldn't worry about that for now. The other P0046 refers to boost pressure. I would suggest you begin by very close inspection of all the Turbo and Intercooler hoses, as this is a common fault area. Also, clean the MAP sensor (carefully) as this becomes clogged easily with EGR gunk! Next check the movement of the turbo solenoid and actuator rod.
Hope this helps

Thanks everyone for the help.
I will check the hooses, turbo and intercooler stuffs.
And what about the ignition time? Should I worry about it? I mean, a engine out of ignition time could cause this kind of issues ?

That's pretty conclusive then! I suppose you need to get the head off and replace the the valve gear.
