Access to a ramp certainly helped me greatly but then I also needed the car back on the road same day.
Didn’t fancy that task on my gravel driveway.
Think I’m slowly ticking the jobs off the list.
My mechanic is going to have the car for the day next week to figure out the handbrake fault and sort it ready for mot.
Think I’m gonna just bite the bullet and buy a Denzo alternator to see if that cures the flickering light problem.
That then leaves checking the bumper wiring as two parking sensors don’t work. Probably think about an oil service too.
Oh and try and figure out why my air tank isn’t filling up fast enough
Never bloody ends!

Indeed , working ur way through the list
Got to do a full service myself and will also replace all the discs and pads later
Mot is in the 20th july so got to get this side all finished
My air tank was leaking on the top weld
Must admit a post lift would have made life easier instead if the driveway

How can you see the top weld from underneath?
I am trying to find an air leak, but to no avail. 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Hi
That’s the trouble u can’t as the weld being on top of the air tank that’s up against the body
Before I dropped mine out I just bought a new one as I didn’t want to mess around , also gave the body and tank a few coats of dinitrol and new bolts for the tank as the old ones snapped
Of course u can drop it out and has no leaks
With a leak I’ve started checking that suspension is in normal height , measured from the centre of the hubs to the bottom of the wheel arch , they should be
Fronts 465mm
Rear 485mm
Then pulled fuse F26 and left it over night , then see if a leak is clearly evident , also re measuring all the heights
Indeed with leaks it’s a case of going through the system step by step
With the engine off can u hear any leaks when walking round the vehicle

That’s very good info reguarding the fuse. So what happens if you pull it?

Hi
It stops the suspension from self levelling every 6 x hours when the vehicle is parked up
So that if one corner is leaking the others won’t follow and level with it, that way can identify if one corner has a leak

I've done fuse and it's dropping front near side. So far I've done new front bags he front and centre valve block. Air reservoir and front gallery are next.05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Hi
As it’s dropping the front near side have u bubble tested the voss connector on top of the strut and also when u fitted the front valve block did u also bubble test that to ensure the 3 x pipes going into it were all sound
We’re the valve blocks u fitted brand new or did u recondition them plse
If u put the height into off road setting , turn the engine off can u hear any air escaping from that front near side or valve block
This is what a leaking air bag looks like, know you’ve replaced urs but had to fit new front struts on mine,
I was just curious and bugging me where my old struts were leaking from

All valve blocks were brand new. No not testing since new blocks. I'll do it tonight on voss connectors05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

Hi
Fingers crossed is just a small leak from a voss connector and only needs a quick nip up,

Hi
When mine kept dropping i started with the fuse and then ended up pulling the air lines from the valve blocks , air tank and compressor , then blew them out first as there was white dust from the incandensant dryer
In order to prove what was leaking , I Pumped up each line and struts to prove what was leaking along with a pressure gauge incorporated in the test line
Even cut some push fit tees in with the gauge and isolating valve so I could test both side of the struts, by alternating the pressure gauge either side of the isolating valve , as in if the strut or line was leaking , all good fun
Alas I bought this as a project and ended up replacing
Front struts
Front , middle and rear valve blocks
Air tank
Compressor
Front near side tubing from strut to valve block also wouldn’t seal up properly
I tried reconditioning the valve blocks but were letting by after i vacuum tested them
So knew as I tested each section it was sound , but the suspension system in mine had simply not been looked after so doubt it very much u having to go to extremes that I had to
As it’s just ur near front side thats dropping the next place I would be going is the line from the strut to the valve block , to rule it out and ensure it’s 100 %
However ur front strut may of been at fault but now have a leak on the new strut voss or valve block so a quick bubble test will see if it’s sound
