Discovery 3 Bulb Upgrades - The Guide
We now have a full range available to replace each of the bulbs on your discovery 3.
Below is our latest recommendations and best versions available featuring 56/30 SMDs and CREE & SMD combos
Whilst you are not supposed to fit LEDs in place of your statutory exterior lights the law seems tolerant of sensible upgrades that are white and do not flicker, at present the MOT does not look for anything other than the correct colour and stability.
We have chosen the best quality available and the whitest form of light.

I'm after new led bulbs for my puddle lights after my cheapo eBay ones (which were superb when I first instaled them) lasted only about 2 months.
Are these still the ones to go for or is there any updated / newer ones available?

I am happy to say that these are very close to 100% reliable and are still the recommended types, apart from the reverse light, we have a newer CREE version for that.Paul Redding

Hi do you do a full led set exterior and interior or do you have to order them individually? Also is there a forum discount ?

I've had one of Steve's LED 380 stop/tail lights connected permanently to a power supply since October 2014 and its still perfect, beam pattern etc is just as good as the day it was powered on. In terms of reliability, they are very well designed with constant current circuitry rather than the resistor networks the cheaper versions use. Worth every penny

Which led bulbs for front indicator ? My headlights have been de tangoed and I'm looking to replace all the bulbs with led where possible. I have the adaptive xenons fitted. Could you advise which bulbs would be best for each part Eg sidelight, indicator, cornering, high beam, etc.
I'll be doing the back lights shortly after.

I found the side repeaters bulbs (as in this post) dont actually fit the housings I have as the bulbs were too tall, it might be because I have aftermarket housings -I dont know.
But I have all the other replacement bulbs Si
