Discovery 4 2014

I purchased a new Land Rover Discovery 4 XXV in October 2014 to replace my 2009 LR Disco 3 and what amazing vehicles they are.
However just traveled down to Geneva in it and it has developed a rhythmic noise/vibration which seems to be from the passenger side front. In addition under some breaking there is a violent vibration felt through the steering wheel.
Unfortunately I still have 600 miles to travel to get back to the UK and wondered if anyone could offer any help or advice as to what it might be? Sad

Update

Called the number in the UK - answered immediately and very courteous -told them I was in France and they transfered me to their office in Lyon - 25mins later no reply - have given up and will risk driving the car home and get it fixed in the UK.

Looking forward to speaking with customer services when I return !! Totally useless!!!!

Does that mean you rang it for 25 minutes? No answer machine or forward?

Poor indeed. I think I'd have got back onto the UK number, they will have alternative contacts surely.

Stew,

PS just a thought, did you check wheel nuts?

Just had similar symptoms and was diagnosed as a warped disc..... Likely to have happened after a heavy brake from speed and sat stationary with foot on the brake which created hot spot and warped disc...
Good luck.... Ps I'll take it off your hands for you! Very Happy sounds terminal Rolling with laughter

Could well be a warped disc !

However thank you for your incredibly kind offer to take it off my hands - but I need to have a few friendly and kind words with Customer Services to discuss the errors of their ways and how we can become friends again - before I drive a 2.5ton car through the bloody showroom I bought it from!!
