Guess what, I can’t get into my 2012 HSE engine bay either. No tension on the release cable despite working just fine two days ago can somebody PM me the fix please? Thanks

hi, I'm in the same boat. release cable all slack at the lever end and no access to the two bonnet catches to release them. none of my local Land Rover specialists profess to knowing what to do !
could I have access to the PM too please.

Hi fellas, same issue with the bonnet release any ideas pls…all accepted! Nowt happening when bonnet release pulled etc. First disco for me…defender x3 owner though so plenty of dirty fingernails over the years!! Many thanks…Nick

Thanks again Kev...took a couple of us and cost me a crate of beer (well worth it though!!)...truck is 8 years old with full LR history and the catches have never seen a grease gun!!

hey guys, after my alternator seems to have gone this week, in order to get to the workshop on monday I want to give the battery a full charge. Unfortunately now the bonnet won't open up again after it was difficult to get it closed for quite some time. :/
Anyway maybe one of you can send me a PM on how to get it open up and check junction box and charge the battery. Thanks.
