Try driving down the white line (as long as there is nothing coming), mine is very camber sensitive, but is bang on when sat ontop of the middle of the camber

[quote="xyplex"]Well I picked it up this afternoon:
I had the black grills added but LR did not want to sell the front grill to me to put on the car but we wangled it.
Hi Xyplex... Just out of interest is your grill Matt or Gloss black?? also same for the side grill.. It looks good..
Semi thinking of doing same...

It looks great and I would have one in a heartbeat for the right price...
But it looks so dated next to the new RRS and RR
In a years tine LR will bring out something so modern and eye catching the current discovery will look like last nights chip paper...

strange this, but i have to disagree.... normally what you have said would be 100% correct BUT the Discovery in its current guise seems to have two charm offensives going on.
The first is the totally correct amount of utilitarian look to suit those that need the workhorse (and not care too much for treating it badly) and secondly enough bling/black pack/lux models to bring it upto a better looking car than its deserves to be.
It balances the luxuary feel inside in exactly the same way.
It may look dated put next to the new RRS and FFRR but in a good way, plus it was never ment to compete with those cars.
There was/is a clear distinction between the disco and OLD shape RRS / FFRR and I rearly hope they keep this in place with future incarnations....otherwise they are in danger of doing what Audi did where they all morph into the same appearance....
Lastly, I would always buy the car I want TODAY and not worry about future incarnations and when I could have one of them, life is way too short....
just my two penneth

FFRR, RRS & Evoque are unashamedly aimed at the urban market, the Disco4 is aimed more at us country dwellers who still use a 4x4 for what the Classic FFRR was originally made for
I like it just as it is, luxurious enough for long Mway and A road driving, plus the old faithfull "wonder car" off road!!
If LR change it too much, to bring the styling in line with the other cars in the stable, then I'm afraid they will lose a lot of customers, but then I expect they know that already........

I really hope LR keep the utility looks of the Discovery going forwards, i love the fact it is so practical for fishing, skiing, shooting etc with room for lots of dogs, beaters, children, and fishing equipment. Somehow it also manages to look good when we pull up outside a resturant in the port.
However i have just spec'd out a new RRS on the web site, the looks colour/wheel combinations are simply stunning although expensive. i think some of the premium car Marks may be very worried as I think it will soon become an aspirational car replacing the likes of Porsche.
Well done LR Club Narpy Torch
