DLR LEDs...how do you turn them on?

I've had a courtesy D4 for the last 3 days and as yet I've not found a way to activate the fairy LEDs.

No handbook to fob through either.

Anyone?

I think it is only the HSE that actually have them built into the headlights unless spec'd up and they only come on in place of the sidelights when turned on. I think its been talked about on here about how to have them as DRLs but i dont think its possible, I may be wrong! Neutral

What do you think of the D4 compared to the RRS?

Cheers Skep,

Yes it's an D4 HSE courtesy car

I've been trawling through the threads also, yes you're right I assumed they were DLR's but they are just side light styling..shame...I assume the new 2011 ones will be up to the job.

Comparing the D4 to the RRS I'm afraid isn't great and TBH I've been a little disapointed with both the D4 and the 3.0L engine (sorry)

The Sport is more focused and has much less body roll when cornering, I assume it's the Dynamic roll bar on the Sport that just makes it feel "sharper". And the 3.0L TDV6 is way down on low end grunt compared to the TDV8 (not a fair comparison maybe, but all I have to go on)

The seating position in the Disco is way to upright, and that combined with the vertical style dash means you feel "on" it not "in" it... furthering the lack of poise that you already feel.

It's quiet yes..and compared to my D3 a very nice cabin... but the Sport is just nicer to drive (on the road)

That is your opinion, many will feel jusdt the opposite. I have had a RRS on loan when mine had some work done, was not impressed with it. Each to their own. Question
