Is that a beer crate you’re using to hold the car up?
And a tree stump????
Hard core!

No not that hard core it is on axle stands, although I did have the MG on tree stumps a few weeks when I had the wheels powered coated.
Ps its a milk crate so really not hard core ==================================

Drove it after getting near rear uppers, 2 track rod ends and steering arm, 4 duratracs and wheel alignment.
Plus got the decat fitted. Nice difference to low Rev pull with that.
With BAS map, 500 cooler and decat. I think that’s as far as I can take it for performance.

Oil & filter service, fuel filter really awkward to get back in place - 08 version - but got there in the end.Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

Fitted the fixed heavy duty tow bar today and the security plate, very impressed now.
Feels very solid, no more tailgaters and people parking up close in the car park at work!

Replaced O/S/R Door lock with a new one from flea bay, may not last forever but long enough for me. Thanks to excellent info on this forum it went relatively easily - helped by some small hands!
Fitted wheel spacers, love the new look but not sure about the driving feel yet - need more miles to decide.
Fitted replacement rear hatch gas struts....another flea bay special but impressed with quality and operation.
Next jobs on the list:
Fit De-cat pipe
Change fuel filter and diff oil
Do another trans flush
Loving the old girl more with every successful journey....

Updated the rear lights to the 2010 LED variety. Personally I prefer the red LEDs rather than the later black/smoked ones, particularly up against the darker paintwork. Delighted with these and at £125 off the forum they are a big saving over new.
They take years off the car.

Issues with bonnet latch
I’ve had issues with the bonnet latch for a few months now. Car alarm has been going off due to the bonnet sensor showing the bonnet was open even though closed.
Decided to clean the bonnet latch on both sides.
Hopefully this will sort the issue out.
