I cut a hole in the dog guard so I can post long items through without having to take the whole thing out. I filed and painted the sharp ends and finished off with some self sealing, 20mm pipe lagging.

Bought a set of 4 stainless sill covers and fitted them this morning.
And Jeez, am I knackered !!
Ordered via ebay 1st Aug and came yesterday 9th Aug .... from China.
At only £21 [inc postage] these are the cheapest I found on the web [more thanhalf the price of some].

Fitted some drainage tubes on the back of my headlights which I hope will stop condensation
Placed heatshrink on the end of the tubes , heated half so the other half with reduce the possibility of water backing up the tube
Also noticed the washer bottle filler moved, fitted a cable tie so another small job done

Keyhole surgery.
(replaced the nearside rear door lock).
Never have worked out how to detach the cable from the handle on the outside, so always struggled to do through the latch hole. Fourth one replaced and at the quickest time of an hour, and that's with clearing away all tools to where they should be and testing the door locking several times.

I've fitted a faux facelift grille (black/silver/grey) along with a new widscreen cowel, wiper arms, wiper blades and even some new caps on the arms to finish things off.
