Door lock actuators motors kit from China... |
|
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32975306812.html
If these are the right motors, suddenly taking apart a door actuator isn't such a big deal. I recently bought just the motors without spur and worm gears pre-attached. This is item could be offering both of the motors in the door actuator with gears pre-attached
One review says "works well on my discovery 4". I'll buy and assess

our (business) experience is that, sometimes both the goodstuff AND the badstuff is made in China..
the goodstuff is seldom on ALI.... it is all in the end control, and on ALI is not the stuff with high-end control... trust me.. if there is a warranty claim you often need to sent it back (to china) at your own cost and if luck you get a new rubisch one back, (after a few months) i understand with cheap stuff not that important, but with more expensive stuff it is maybe..
look for a UK or European based company who gives you a good and reliable warranty on these kind of parts.. where they are made is not so important regarding quality, but who made them and with what quality norm.. and who sells them that is important.. (to me at least) Best regards
Harold

As above, and wherever it is made, if the seller is selling from the UK, any warranty is with them and it is a minimum of 12 months.

Yes there can be some rather dubious stuff shipped from China (hence the old joke that often when an electrical item is made there the CE mark really stands for Chinese Export! )
However lots of good stuff is made there and sites like AB and others have a mix of good and bad suppliers there.
Normally though a personal reference is the only way to get a true indication Must stop buying shiny toys....
